The Villages consultation office of Whittel & Melton, LLC is located just on the northern edge of the Villages. Our office is in the Baylee Plaza within the same office as Irvin Companies. The office park is located just north of The Villages Regional Hospital on US Hwy 441. The Villages, Florida consists of Marion County, Lake County and Sumter County. The Marion County courthouse is located in Ocala. The Lake County courthouse is located in Tavares. All state legal matters of personal injury, auto accidents, slip and fall, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, sex crimes, drug arrests, fraud cases, felony, misdemeanor and DUI arrests, traffic tickets, divorce, will contests, etc. are all resolved before Circuit and County Court Judges in each county respectively. The Sumter County courthouse is located in Bushnell. Due to the three jurisdictions, there are four primary law enforcement agencies that overlook The Villages. Sumter County S.O., Marion County S.O., Lake County S.O. and Florida Highway Patrol (F.H.P.)
